The special fish tea after 6pm is amazing. Breaded or battered fish, chips side salad and coleslaw, and you can buy a portion of mushy peas if you like them, complimented by bread and butter and a pot of tea. ....followed up by two scoops of ice cream and the food is always fabulous. The staff are really on the ball and nothing is too much bother. A year round gem....definitely worth a visit and you'll keep going back.
Food was really nice and Largs is a great peaceful place place to visit. Only downside to my visit to Nardini's was when I went to pay for the meal I gave 30 and waited for my 5 change back from the girl serving but wasn't given anything at first as she walked away. When I stood for a moment or two the girl looked back at me like there was something wrong. I advised I was waiting for my 5 change and she then went to get it from the till. She obviously thought I was giving a tip of 5 but this is very wrong to assume.
Beautiful art deco cafe, world renowned, great choice of snacks and meals, also tasty cakes and scones for afternoon cuppa! World famous ice cream treats to enjoy too! Friendly and efficient staff with great views over the Clyde coast.
Honestly, not great. Food was fine, but the staff reflected a management who clearly did not invest in people. Overall experience was therefore absolutely average. Nardini's by name, only.
I love going to Nardini's with my wife either for quick bite or an evening meal. It doesn't matter whether it's a busy weekend or not, the staff never disappoints and nor does the meal. Vegetarians don't have a massive selection but do have some options. Food is always fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Portion sizes are good. And of course there's the ice cream. Can't compare it to anything else - you just need to try it. Prices I'd say are average. Plenty of parking spaces across the street. However, on a very busy day you might have to wait for a spot, but I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. Last time I was there it was 1 for up to an hour, 3 for up to 3 hours and 4 for the whole day. There's an entrance for wheelchair users.The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because their toilets are getting worse every time I visit. They are dirty, smelly and definitely need a major upgrade.
