November 19, 2018 we celebrated my daughters birthday with a family dinner at The Bean & Leaf. Every dish served was delicious, hot and well presented. The staff were very friendly and polite. Big selection of home baking - difficulty in choosing one so we shared several. We will definitely be regular customers from now on.
Had breakfast with other half on Saturday morning. Really tasty with nice hot plates which sadly some places seem to ignore. Two clean plates and two very happy customers who will be back very soon
Really friendly and helpful staff. Food was great and freshly made. I had the scampi which was lovely as were the home made chips and mum had the haggis, neeps and tatties which she enjoyed. It was great for us as mum was in a wheelchair and there was a ramp up to the entrance and as it's dog friendly we could also take her wee dog in which was a major bonus. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again.
Had lunch with a couple of friends. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The cafe has nice decor and has a modern feel to it as well as being bright and airy also. Only downside that loses it a 5 star rating is that our food took a long time to arrive even though the cafe wasn't full. I wouldn't write it off on that though as we may have had a one-off, slow food experience. I would definitely visit again to allow them the chance of a 5 star rating next time.
